There are no accounts on Rivetnest and no card details anywhere in the platform. This page explains the little that is left.
Rivetnest does not ask you to register, does not take payment information and does not keep a copy of your point balance. The game runs in your browser, and the data it needs stays in your browser. We are a small operation in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, and we would rather store nothing than manage something we do not need.
Three small values are written to your browser's local storage: your confirmation that you are 19 or older, your cookie preference, and your Poseidon Era point balance with the bet size you last used. None of it is transmitted to us, and none of it identifies you. Clearing your browsing data removes all three, after which the age check and the starting balance appear again as if you were a first-time visitor.
If you accept optional cookies we collect aggregate usage statistics: pages opened, approximate region, browser type, and how far down a page people scroll. It is used to decide what to fix, nothing else. We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising pixels and we do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing. Decline the optional cookies and none of this is recorded.
When you email support we receive your address and whatever you write. It is kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter, then deleted. We do not add it to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Under Canadian federal privacy law and Quebec's provincial rules you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. In practice the answer for most visitors is that we hold nothing beyond an email you sent us. Write to support@rivetnest.com and we will respond within thirty days.
The platform is for adults aged 19 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we will remove the record.
If this policy changes we publish the revised version on this page. Continued use of Rivetnest after a change means you accept it.
The site runs on rented hosting, and like any web server it writes an access log: an IP address, the file requested, a timestamp and a browser string. That log exists so the host can spot attacks and count bandwidth. We do not read it to study individuals, we do not connect it to anything else, and it is overwritten on a short rotation. It is the one record that exists whether you accept optional cookies or not, because a server cannot answer a request without seeing where to send the reply.
Fonts and the animation library load from public CDNs, which means those providers see the same request data your browser sends to any site using them. Nothing about you, your balance or your session travels with it. We use no chat widget, no embedded video, no advertising network and no payment processor, because there is no payment.
